This is a general guide that newbies and veterans can use to gain hero experience in order to ascend into Elite Hero status. This is going to be a magic type build that won't break the bank in terms of item costs.

Stats:

STR - 200-300 - For Yggs/Mastela and Panaceas

AGI - 195 ASPD, then add 10 more agi from there - To avoid losing ASPD when High Priest monsters uses Decrease Agi on you

INT - 500 - Full Magic Damage

VIT - Rest - As much HP as possible

DEX - 200 - Instant Cast Skill

LUK - 0

Build:

Top Headgear: Satyr Helm or any 2 Slotted Headgear

Card 1: Kiel Card - Reduces ASD by 30%

Card 2: High Wizard Card - Ignores normal monster's Magic Defense Rate

Middle Headgear: Any 45% Delay Wing

Card: Kiel Card - Reduces ASD by 30%

Bottom Headgear: Any Anti-freeze and Anti-silence Aura / Sage Ring

Card: Orc Hero Card - +15 Vit. Anti-stun status

Armor: Brynhildr from v4p - Anti-knockback. +10% MAtk

Card: N/A

Weapon: Twin Edge of Naght Sieger (obtainable by killing Naght Sieger on Endless Tower Instance or from Vending shops) - Enables the use of Lvl 3 Meteor Storm

Cards: 3 Red Ferus Cards - Increases Meteor Storm's Magic Damage by 5% each

Shield: Valkyrie Shield / Neo Valkyrie Shield / Returner Shield

Card: Thara Frog Card

Garment: Elite Asprika / Nydhoggur's Shadow Garb

Card: Salamander Card - Increases Meteor Storm's Magic Damage by 40%

Shoes: Sleipnir from v4p - +20% HP and SP

Card: Dark Lord Card - Autocasts Level 5 Meteor Storm on enemies attacking you

Accessories - 2 Int Megingjards / 2 Returner Necklace

Card: N/A

TIPS:

1. Lure monsters by moving around and spam Meteor Storm around you. Then use @jump to teleport.

2. You may use this build up until you reach 98m and move onto the Elite Hero Quest.

3. You may use the exact same build to clear the House of Trials.

4. This build works with all jobs.

5. This build does not allow you to kill Valkyrie mobs on Rank C Monster Arena.
