A team wins COD in one of two ways:
 +

 +
* Be the first team to reach '''200 score'''

* Have the highest score when the 30-minute timer ends

The event timer announces remaining time at several points, including 30, 25, 20, 15, 10, 5, and 1 minute remaining.
 +

 +
If no team reaches 200 points before time runs out, the team with the higher final score wins.
 +

 +
If the score is tied at the end, the script currently favors '''Vanguard''' because it checks Vanguard score as greater than or equal to Sentinel score.

===Event Duration===

Clash of Division lasts up to '''30 minutes'''.

To reach the Clash of Division NPC, go to:

  • @warp hero_camp 194 189
  • or use @go COD if available
Clash of Division NPC

Event Overview

Clash of Division takes place in old_ruins. Once the event starts, queued Elite Heroes can enter the arena through the Clash of Division NPC.

The goal is to defeat enemy players, collect the skulls they drop, and sacrifice enemy skulls at the Altar of Sacrifice in the middle of the map. Each enemy skull sacrificed adds points to your temporary division team.

The current teams are:

Temporary Team Notes
Vanguard Team 1
Sentinel Team 2

The event is no longer played as four permanent divisions. Players are temporarily assigned into Vanguard or Sentinel for that specific Division Event.

How To Join

Before joining COD, players must join the Division Queue.

You can queue by using:

  • @divqueue
  • @divisionqueue
  • the Division Queue NPC at hero_camp 213 184

The queue opens before the Division Event. After registration closes, the system balances players by class group, Division EXP, Elite Kills, and team size.

Requirements:

  • Must have unlocked the Elite Hero System.
  • Must queue before teams are assigned.
  • Must receive a temporary division assignment.
  • Must be online when teams are formed.
  • Only one queued character per account/Gepard device ID is allowed.
  • A minimum of 4 queued players is required or the event can be cancelled.

If you queue but do not participate, your Gepard Device ID can receive a no-show strike. Three consecutive no-show strikes result in a 7-day Division Queue ban.

Entering The Arena

When the event starts, the server announces that Elite Heroes should report to Hero Camp.

Talk to the Clash of Divisions NPC and choose Join Event.

The NPC checks:

  • The event must be active.
  • You must be an Elite Hero.
  • You must have a valid temporary team assignment.
  • You must have enough inventory space.
  • You must not have a looting pet active.

Warning: Looting pets are not allowed in COD. The script warns that use of looting pets in the map can result in a 7-day ban.

Map Rules

COD takes place in old_ruins.

Map restrictions include:

  • PvP/Faction combat enabled
  • No teleport
  • No warp
  • No warping to the map
  • No item drops
  • No pet looting

Yggdrasil Berries and Assumptio are enabled.

3rd job skills are enabled, so expect heavy team fights and fast clashes.

Main Objective

The main goal is to score more points than the enemy team.

To score:

  1. Kill enemy players.
  2. Pick up the skulls they drop.
  3. Bring enemy skulls to the Altar of Sacrifice in the middle of the map.
  4. Sacrifice the skulls to add points to your team score.
Sacrifice totem located in the middle of the map.
On your mini-map, the red dot marks the altar location.

Skull Mechanics

When a player dies in COD, they drop a skull based on their temporary division assignment.

Skull Type Current Use
Alpha Human Skull Used by Vanguard/Sentinel scoring logic
Beta Human Skull Used by Vanguard/Sentinel scoring logic
Delta Human Skull Removed by the altar in the current two-team version
Zeta Human Skull Removed by the altar in the current two-team version

Enemy skulls are used to score points. Friendly skulls do not increase your score, but turning them in still matters because it prevents the enemy team from using them.

If you die while carrying skulls, all skulls in your inventory are deleted. This means your team loses the chance to score those skulls.

Scoring

Each enemy skull sacrificed gives:

  • +1 team score
  • +25 Division EXP
  • +25 salary/event EXP
  • 2 Battle Badges per enemy skull

Each friendly skull saved gives:

  • +20 Division EXP
  • +20 salary/event EXP
  • No team score

Each player kill gives:

  • +50 Division EXP
  • +10 salary/event EXP
  • 2 Battle Badges
  • +1 Hero Shop Point
  • Death Match points
  • Elite Weapon Kill credit if using an eligible Elite Weapon

To qualify for event salary, you must earn at least 150 salary/event EXP during the event.

Winning The Event

A team wins COD in one of two ways:

  • Be the first team to reach 200 score
  • Have the highest score when the 30-minute timer ends

The event timer announces remaining time at several points, including 30, 25, 20, 15, 10, 5, and 1 minute remaining.

If no team reaches 200 points before time runs out, the team with the higher final score wins.

If the score is tied at the end, the script currently favors Vanguard because it checks Vanguard score as greater than or equal to Sentinel score.

Event Duration

Clash of Division lasts up to 30 minutes.

The event can end earlier if a team reaches 200 score.

Rewards During The Event

Players can earn rewards while fighting and sacrificing skulls.

Possible rewards include:

  • Division EXP
  • Battle Badges
  • Death Match points
  • Hero Shop Points
  • Elite Weapon Kill credit
  • Chance at Seal of Honor from enemy skull sacrifices

Seal of Honor is used for Division rank promotions.

Event Salary

After COD ends, the Division Manager opens the salary period for 10 minutes.

To claim event salary:

  1. Go to the Hero Division Manager.
  2. Choose Claim Salary.
  3. Choose Event Salary.
  4. You must have participated and earned enough event EXP.
  5. You must claim during the 10-minute salary window.

Only queued players who actually participated in the event may claim the event salary.

Event salary depends on your temporary team's placement.

Placement Division Coins Victory Badges War Badges War Supplies Shuffle Points
1st Place 250 6 5 5 4
2nd Place 225 4 3 3 3

Winning Division Buff

After a Division Event ends, the winning team is announced. The winning side receives credit through the Division Manager system, and eligible participants can claim their event salary.

Older versions of this event referred to a winning permanent division buff from the Healer NPC. The current event system uses temporary Vanguard/Sentinel assignments and event salary claims instead.

Elite Weapon Kills

COD counts toward Elite Weapon Kill progression if you kill players while using an eligible Elite Weapon.

Eligible weapon IDs are checked by the script, and kills can give:

  • +1 Elite Weapon Kill
  • +2 Elite Weapon Kills if certain booster items are present

Elite Weapon Kill progress can increase your Elite Hero weapon rank.

Tips

  • Always queue before the event starts.
  • Party with your assigned temporary team.
  • Use @tag if available to show your temporary Division tag.
  • Do not bring a looting pet.
  • Keep inventory space open for skulls.
  • Turn in friendly skulls to deny enemy points.
  • Do not carry too many skulls for too long, because dying deletes them.
  • Control the middle altar area as a team.
  • Protect players carrying multiple enemy skulls.
  • Remember that only enemy skulls increase team score.
