Save the Princess

Save the Princess is one of the Elite Division events. It shares the Division Event schedule with Clash of Division, so the event that opens may be either Save the Princess or Clash of Division.

Division Events are held at:

  • 07:00 server time
  • 18:00 server time
  • 20:00 server time

Use @time in-game to check the current server time.

Save the Princess takes place inside the castle map, where both temporary Division teams must fight through monsters, defeat the Guardian MVPs, and rescue Princess Amelia.

How to Join

To join Save the Princess, you must first join the Division Queue.

You can join the queue by using:

  • @divqueue
  • @divisionqueue

You can leave the queue before assignment by using:

  • @leavequeue

The Division Queue NPC is located at:

  • hero_camp 213 184

After registration closes, players are assigned into temporary event teams:

  • Vanguard
  • Sentinel

These teams are balanced automatically based on class type, Division EXP, Elite Kills, and team size.

Once teams are assigned, report to the Save the Princess NPC at:

  • hero_camp 331 348

The event announcement may also tell players to report around hero_camp 330 330.

You must be assigned by the Division Queue to enter the event. If you did not queue or were not assigned, the NPC will not allow you inside.

Event Flow

The event has three main stages:

  1. Join the Division Queue during registration.
  2. Enter the castle when Save the Princess starts.
  3. Kill monsters, defeat all Guardians, then rescue Princess Amelia.

When the event begins, players are warped into the castle at:

  • nguild_prt

The Princess is located at:

  • nguild_prt 196 196

However, Princess Amelia cannot be rescued until all Guardian MVPs have been defeated.

Main Objective

The main objective is to help your assigned team earn the highest score and rescue the Princess.

You can earn points by:

  • Killing regular monsters
  • Killing stronger castle monsters
  • Defeating Guardian MVPs
  • Helping your team reach the Princess after all Guardians are dead

The winning team is decided by total event score when the Princess is rescued or when the event timer ends.

If both teams have the same score, Vanguard wins the tie.

Castle Monsters

When the event starts, many monsters spawn throughout the castle.

Common monsters include:

  • Bug Bear
  • Stone Soldier
  • Vicious Dog
  • Orc Skeleton
  • Deadly Wraith

Stronger monsters include:

  • Arachne
  • Furious Seyren
  • Deceitful Kathryne
  • Vengeful Cecil

Killing regular monsters gives:

  • +1 team score
  • +1 Division EXP
  • +1 temporary event salary EXP
  • +2 Death Match shop kills

Some stronger monsters give:

  • +40 team score
  • +40 Division EXP
  • +40 temporary event salary EXP

There is also a very rare chance to receive a Seal of Honor from monster kills.

Guardian MVPs

As monsters are killed, the event progresses toward spawning Guardian MVPs.

After enough monsters are defeated, a Guardian will appear. Only one Guardian can be active at a time. If a Guardian is alive, another Guardian will not spawn until the current one is killed.

The Guardians spawn in this order:

  1. Guard 1: Dark Lord at nguild_prt 50 48
  2. Guard 2: Beelzebub at nguild_prt 157 96
  3. Guard 3: Atroce at nguild_prt 125 176
  4. Guard 4: Draconus at nguild_prt 197 200

Killing a Guardian gives the killer:

  • +1000 team score
  • +400 Division EXP
  • +400 temporary event salary EXP
  • +600 Death Match shop kills
  • +3 Hero Fury
  • 1x 500M Zeny Bag

There is also a chance to receive a Seal of Honor from Guardian kills.

Note: Some in-game messages may display a different Division EXP amount, but the current event reward script gives +400 Division EXP and +400 temporary event salary EXP for Guardian kills.

Rescuing Princess Amelia

Princess Amelia is located at:

  • nguild_prt 196 196

If any Guardians are still alive, she will not leave the castle.

After all four Guardians are defeated, players can talk to Princess Amelia to rescue her. Once she is rescued, the event ends and the winning team is announced.

The winner is based on team score:

  • Vanguard score
  • Sentinel score

The team with the higher score wins the Division Event.

Event Timer

Save the Princess can end in two ways:

  • Princess Amelia is rescued after all Guardians are defeated.
  • The event timer runs out.

The event has a limited run time. Announcements will warn players as the timer gets closer to the end.

If the timer expires before the Princess is rescued, the team with the highest score still wins.

Salary Eligibility

To become eligible for the event salary, you must participate enough during the event.

For Save the Princess, you need to earn temporary event EXP by killing monsters and Guardians. Attendance is counted once you reach the required event participation amount.

After the event ends, salary opens for a limited time.

You can claim your salary from the Hero Division Manager at:

  • hero_camp 56 192

Choose:

  • Claim Salary
  • Event Salary

The salary window only stays open for a short time after the event, so claim it as soon as possible.

Event Salary Rewards

The winning team receives the first-place salary.

First Place Salary:

  • 250 Division Coins
  • 6 Victory Badges
  • 5 War Badges
  • 5 War Supplies
  • Shuffle Points

Second Place Salary:

  • 225 Division Coins
  • 4 Victory Badges
  • 3 War Badges
  • 3 War Supplies
  • Shuffle Points

Important Notes

  • You must join through the Division Queue before the event starts.
  • You cannot enter if you were not assigned to Vanguard or Sentinel.
  • The event uses temporary Division teams, not your old permanent Division color.
  • Kill monsters continuously to help spawn the Guardians.
  • Guardian kills are worth a large amount of score and EXP.
  • The Princess can only be rescued after all four Guardians are dead.
  • Claim your Event Salary quickly after the event ends.
  • Save the Princess and Clash of Division share the same Division Event schedule.
